Bought as a bit of fun for christmas. OK but didnt expect it to fall to bits within minutes of opening the package. Would have been very disappointed if it had been wanted for more than fun.

We are extremely pleased with this instrument - it performs as near to a real piano as one could expect and we would highly recommend it.
The only thing we were not pleased with was the 'white glove service' which was non existant - that it would be delivered and assembled with all the packaging taken away did not happen leaving us to deal with it ourselves.

After a great deal of research of both traditional & electric pianos we decided the Yamaha 141 was the one for us. It has the appearance of a modern piece of furnite which is in keeping with our home & plays just like a real piano [& the price is fantastic] Although it does have the ability to sound like other instruments we only play it as a traditional piano, as that is the sound we were searching for. I have had afew lessons to recap those I had as a child & our three teenagers are enjoying their first experience of tinkling the ivories! We often use the volume control, the record feature & the headphone facility which makes this piano so much better than a traditional one. My piano teacher was very impressed, what more can I say.

Excellent. Arrived on time. The lessons are easy to understand and a particularly good feature is being able to download music and lessons from the internet. The sound is good, especially in piano mode and the keys have a good, "real" feel to them, unlike many electronic keyboards. It's more than adequate for a beginner, like myself, and will be able to see me through for a long time to come.

This is a fantastic keyboard! The instrument are very accurate and sound close to the real thing. Also, the touch response is great, not only does it change the volume of the note, but also the hardness and softness! I would recommend this keyboard to beginners through to experts!

This is a great keyboard. the 'piano' sounds just like a normal piano and all the other effects are great [footsteps, animals, ghosts etc plus plenty of other instruments - trombone, harp, drums etc]. bought for my 5 year old who is just starting lessons - she loves it and has worked out a lot of the extras for herself. the keyboard has a proper piano feel so she doesn't get muddled from her lessons being on a real piano. a metronome is included to help with rhythym and with all the extras and facility to record etc this will suit her [and the rest of the family] for years to come. well worth the money for learners or experienced players alike

I use it to record my acoustic guitar and its very loud and clear. Make sure you turn up the mic volume by going to control panel - sound - recording.

This was a surprise present for my daughter who composes and records personal tracks on the computer. She had explained the type of microphone she wanted and they were all mega pricey. Anyway I heard her talking about Samson microphones and saw this on Amazon.
She was realy pleased with it. It definitely has a good quality pickup. At one point it caught me cackling like a witch in another room watching TV.

It is chunky and heavy, and fitted perfectly on the microphone stand that my daughter already had. My daughter is really pleased with its quality, no hissing and no distortion.

For the price, you get a very good microphone. I purchased it for around £60, and I didn't have very high hopes, I was looking for something to record a loud drum kit with. When I got it, I thought, oh well, it will just be super loud and distorted like cameras and other cheap mic's I've tried, I might as well try it before I send it back. When I did record it, the quality was super. Now, I was playing a super loud drum kit, in a bare untreated room with pretty poor acoustics- And I got a clean, distortion clear recording which could pass off as being recorded by a mic three times the cost. I'm very impressed. Just imagine how good it could sound in a decent room...

Also it connects to your laptop/computer via USB, so you don't need to buy XLR cables and mixers and interfaces- Easy, simple, cheap and gives a very impressive sound recording.

This item is excellent. I was slightly nervious at the manufactures description of a notebook stand. I have a laptop and the stand has made a huge difference to my sitting and reading position. Exactly as I wanted, and the quality of the plastic as other reviewers have said is superb. A great deal for very little money.
